STAY AND PLAY SESSIONS FOR 2022

1. Under 5s club stay and play sessions during term time

2. School holiday stay and play sessions (18mnths - 10 year olds)

3. After school stay and play sessions (after school term time) 

 

What happens during a session?

​

• For 18mnths (walkers) to 5 year olds (or up to 10/11 years for after school/school holiday sessions) 

• One responsible adult must attend with their child 

• Book in half term blocks or week by week sessions

• Siblings may attend (younger than 18mnths free with a paying sibling) 

• Includes hot drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) and biscuits for all,

• Includes a campfire snack, for the children booked in

Each session will link to the season and theme and there will be different activities each session. In addition, the mud kitchen, den building, hammocks, tool area, chalk board, mini-beast hotel, musical instruments, digging area and whole woodland site can be explored each week. 

 

The sessions are designed to be child-led. 

​

During the session we will gather at the log circle for snack time

around the campfire. Then, there is more time to explore

or play woodland games. 

​

We often finish up with a story.

Spring Term - April / May

(4 sessions @ £40 / 3 sessions @ £30 or

£11 week by week bookings ) 

Tuesday 26th April, 10th & 24th May  9.15-11am

Thursday 28th April, 5th, 12th & 19th May 9.45 - 11.30am 

Magical May!

Activities will include:

Fairy doors and elf houses, Magic wands, journey sticks,

miniature gardens, magic potions  & spring flower flag printing

Summer Term - June July

(4 sessions @£40 or £11 week by week bookings)

Tuesday 7th, 14th, 21st June & 5th July 9.15 - 11am

Thursday 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th June 

Marvellous Mini-beasts!

Activities will include:

Mini-beasts hunts and crafts 

The very busy spider - weaving and spider cookies 

The very hungry caterpillar hunt and butterfly feeders

Superworm - elder bead worms and make your own

wormery

during the Summer Holidays 2022

£12 each or £20 per family

Tues 26th July 9.45-11.30am

Thurs 28th July 9.45-11.30am

3. Stay and Play After School 

£12 each or £20 family 

no dates at present

WHAT TO WEAR  

Long trousers

Long sleeved t-shirts/jumpers 

Sun hat/cream or warm hats/gloves/scarves (depending on weather) 

Stout shoes/trainers/wellies

Waterproofs (top and bottoms)

A pair of gardening/work gloves are recommended ·  

Insect repellent – if desired

 

WHAT TO BRING

Spare clothes (weather dependent)

Water bottle/s (full) enough water for the whole session

ANY ESSENTIAL MEDICATION E.G. INHALERS
